I’m looking over the bills today and realize we don’t have enough money. It seems as if we never have enough. We’ll never be out of debt and debt is a way of life. We’ll always carry a mortgage payment, car payment and credit card debt. That’s a fact.
We’ll is it? It is when we feel that we are entitled to our money. When we feel that we are entitled to our money we will continue to long for what others have. We pray to our Father to give us more and we promise to him that we will do better.
God has no pleasures in our foolishness.
He wants us to use our money for good. Those that have enough and are tight fisted have no joy. Those that don’t have enough and spend foolishly don’t have enough.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 Whoever loves money never has money enough, whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.
Contentment comes when we realize that it all belongs to God and we should use his money the way he intends for us to.
