Date nights are still important even when you are trying to cut expenses. So I’ve put together 5 Tips on making date nights affordable.
Remember though, these date nights are treats and they aren’t to be abused.
2.) Find coupon discounts for your local restaurants. Head online to their website and sign up for their emails. They’ll send you coupons and notify you of specials.
3.) When eating out share dinner and avoid beverages. Drinks are expensive when eating out. On average, you’ll pay $3.00 per beverage. Water is free! Order water… If you really hate water, order it with lemon, add some sugar and you’ve just made yourself a free lemonade!
4.) Entertain books are also a great way to save money. The only problem I see is most people don’t plan ahead to use these. They leave them at home, so leave it in the car instead.
5.) If you have kids, avoid paying for a babysitter. Make arrangements with a neighbor or friend and swap babysitting
