Meet my dog! She’s a fun-loving, lazy, dog, who loves to eat.
At our last vet visit, our vet informed us that our dog was slightly overweight. We don’t know the exact breed of our dog since she was a rescue. Which makes it hard to identify what’s normal for her breed type. We knew we had to add more exercise into her routine as these short walks weren’t cutting it. Taking her on longer walks seemed to be the key and we wanted to be prepared.

Therefore I teamed up with Petco and put together: The Best 7 Items for Taking Your Dog on Long Walks.
1.) Leash – I love this leash because of the 2 in one. I can instantly grab my dog and have her in heel.
2.) Treat Bag – I don’t really like have treat crumbs in my pocket, therefore I invested in a treat bag.
3.) Treats your dog loves. My dog loves peanut butter, so these peanut butter treats for her are to die for.
4.) Waste Bag Dispenser. Fun and stylish design and attachable. Also, I’d recommend you picking up a poop bag clipper. This wasn’t available online otherwise, I would have recommended it. You could clip the bag of poop to the bag dispenser or leash.
5.) Pet Top Combo Pack Portable Water Bottle Dispenser. It’s important to keep yourself and dog hydrated. This tool attaches right to your water bottle making it easy to dispense for your pet.
6.) Animal Pet Corrector. We all know that not all pets are obedient. This Pet Corrector will come in handy for those times your dog or other dogs get out of control.
7.) Star Wars Chewbacca Dog Harness. Ok this really isn’t a necessity – but it sure is fun and a great conversation starter.
