Homemade Gifts

Another gift I love making is Calendars.  Last year I made personalized calendars with everyone’s pictures on the date of their birthday/anniversary.  That was a really big hit.

This year since I wanted to try out my new laminator, I used 5ml laminating sheets with the intention that they could use a dry erase marker to make notes on the calendar.  This is what the final project looked like.

Sorry it’s not the best picture, but you get the gist of it.  The circles in red, indicate a family event.  The circles in blue, indicate a holiday.  To the right is a list of all of the events/holiday.  Just make sure you “save” the right dates.  When I checked the dates, apparently I didn’t check to make sure I saved it, and loaded the wrong dates on my final project.  OOPS!  REDO!  So for all of my family members that read my blog, I’m mailing out new ones on Monday.

Homemade Gifts

Now that Christmas is over, I can share with you the homemade gifts I made.

This gift was for my father and mother in law.  It’s a “page”mark for their bible/books.  The pictures included are of them, their children, their children spouses and their grandchildren.

I made this on Microsoft Word, printed this and laminated it on 5X7 laminating paper.
