August 5th, 2011, The City of Las Vegas will be holding a Back-To-School Fair along with a Movie in the Park.

Here are all the details:
Join Ward 6 Councilman Steve Ross for a free back-to-school fair and movie in the park Friday, Aug. 5, in Centennial Hills Park, located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Everyone will enjoy the community vendors, and kids will have fun playing in a jump house. School supplies will be distributed to the first 500 school-age children; children must be present to receive supplies. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to be more comfortable during the animated family film “Tangled,” which will begin at dusk. Light refreshments will be available while supplies last. The movie and refreshments are sponsored by Smoothie King®.
“I encourage everyone in Ward 6 to bring their families to Centennial Hills Park for this evening event Aug. 5,” said Councilman Ross. “It’s a great park with plenty of room for family fun, and it will be a wonderful night to share with friends and neighbors.”
