I’m totally hooked on homemade tortilla chips and these are super easy to make.
- Corn Tortillas
- Oil (Vegetable, Olive, Canola..)
- Salt (if desired)
Take the corn tortillas and cut in half, then using the half cut that into 3’s this will make the triangle shape.
Brush oil on one side of the chips and lay chips into single layer on baking sheet. Add desired salt.
Bake at 350 until golden brown and crisp, rotating the baking sheets once, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Now I will have to say this dish can be frustrating and your baking time will vary in almost every batch you make. It may take longer to bake depending on the amount of oil you use. Just work with it until you get your desired crisp.
