Having a large family makes it difficult when searching for a hotel room. I can’t express enough how crazy it drives me. I recently spent hours and hours researching hotels for large families in Scottsdale AZ, before I finally decide on a location. If you’re looking for a hotel in Scottdale or Phoenix Arizona that sleeps 5-6, let me save you time. I’ve got the perfect choice for you.
My husband and I decided to take the kids to see their first major league baseball game at the Diamondbacks Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona. We found some great prices on tickets through seat geek. (I’ll share that story later in a future post).
We couldn’t decide if we wanted to stay in Phoenix or Scottsdale. We choose to stay in Scottdale Airzona, Old Town. It’s not that far of a drive from the stadium in Phoenix, plus we could spend the day hiking Camelback Mountain, do some shopping, etc.
Hotel Room
The hotel we choose was Hyatt Place, 7300 E 3rd Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
Got a standard room with double beds.
The room was equipped with a mini fridge, room safe, coffemaker, desk with plenty of outlets and even usb outlets and free wifi.
To the sink for the bathroom is located right in front of the bed. To the left of the of that was a tiny closet and to the right was a tiny bathroom with toilet and bathtub. I believe it was equipped with 3 large bath towels, therefore we had to call down and ask for more. The service was great! We received extra towels within a few moments.
The living room area was one of the main reasons why we choose Hyatt Place. It gave use more room to roam around in.

It was a pull out bed. Making it perfect hotels for large families in Scottsdale AZ who need room for 5-6 guests. If you’re traveling with more than 6. There is enough room to put a sleeping bag on the floor and even a portable crib.
Complimentary Breakfast
I didn’t take any photos of the breakfast area, but it was really nice. Lots of variety. They had pancakes, egg sandwiches, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, donuts, orange juice, apple juice, milk, and coffee.
I would stay here again. It’s the perfect hotel for large families.
