I love having a weekly activities calendar. This makes my life so much easier so I can stay afloat with all of the overwhelming activities my kids are involved in.
I created this Free Menu Planner Printable because menu planning is essential if you want to save money on groceries for the week. One of main reasons people over spend on their groceries is because they head to the store at the last minute and pay full price for the meals they are craving to eat.
By using these Free Menu Planner Printable in full color. Or you can print this Free Menu Planner Printable in partial color (Ink Saver). Not only will you be prepared by planning ahead you will save money and time as well.
When you begin planning your menu, start by looking in your freezer, fridge and pantry. Then plan meals with the ingredients you already have on hand.
Then make a list and head to the store for the ingredients you need. For significant savings be sure to check our series on stockpiling. Where I’ll teach you how buying items when prices are at their lowest will save you in the months to come.

Frozen released today and I’m excited to share my Frozen movie review! If you are looking for a film to see over the Thanksgiving holiday this one is definitely worth it.
This Frozen movie review is not a sponsored review. Disney provided me the opportunity to preview this movie with my family, all opinions are my own.
Frozen is such an incredible movie and fun for the entire family. Disney Frozen is a film about 2 sisters, Anna and Elsa. They were joyous playmate and inseparable as kids. Elsa had special powers; she could turn anything into ice, which made their playtime extremely fun. Until one day Elsa accidentally struck her sister. Near death, they brought Anna to a magical troll, who heals Anna and erases her memory of Elsa’s special powers. Elsa’s parents thought it would be best to keep Elsa locked away and doors closed to the castle, until she could learn to control her powers.
The castle doors are opened again, once Elsa becomes queen. Still fearful of her powers she strives to get through the coronation ceremony. But during the ball, Anna falls quickly in love with a prince and announces their engagement. Elsa doesn’t give her blessing and a heated argument left Elsa releasing her powers. Elsa ashamed leaves the kingdom, not realizing she turned summer into winter.
Anna goes after Elsa in efforts to retrieve her sister and restore the kingdom. Along the way, she meets Kristoff and his sidekick Sven. Then later they meet a snowman named Olaf, (my kids favorite character in the film). The movie Frozen was a bit of old Disney, lots of singing in this film, which reminded me of older films such as snow white.
The film was heart felt and very enjoyable for the kids. I would definitely recommend taking your kids to see it.

Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
The film is directed by Chris Buck (“Tarzan,” “Surf’s Up”) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, “Wreck-It Ralph”), who also wrote the screenplay. It is produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Princess and the Frog”). Featuring original songs from Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“In Transit,” “Winnie the Pooh”) and Tony® winner Robert Lopez (“The Book of Mormon,” “Avenue Q”), and an original score by Christophe Beck (“The Muppets,” Oscar®-winning short “Paperman”), “Frozen” hits theaters in 3D on Nov. 27, 2013.
