Tween Boys Bedroom – Budget Friendly – DIY Transformation

Last summer when my oldest moved out of the house.  The twins got to move into her bedroom.  We painted all of their furniture and the only thing lacking was their headboards.  I found some awesome pieces at the thrift store.  2 headboards for $20.00

Here is what it looked like before:

Here is the transformation.

These headboard are perfect for a tween bedroom.  They can place their trophies, nicknacks and stuff on them. This is what their bedroom looks like now.

This was such an inexpensive project to transform their room.

And just so you know…

I bought their dresser/mirror and night stands at the thrift store for $60.00

I bought their headboards at the thrift store for $20.00

For $80.00 they have an entire bedroom set.  We were able to repurpose the finds and transformed the into something my boys love.
