We are just over a week in our Summer break, we don’t have any summer travel planned and my kids are bored. I’m trying to get done all of the things I wasn’t able to tackle during the school year. It’s 110 out so needless to say the kids aren’t interested in playing outside.
My energy level on a scale of 1 to 10 to entertain my kids is a 1. So I’ve decided that I need to put forth the effort and make this a summer of great memories by creating a summer bucket list. Now the list isn’t long – (ain’t noboby got time for that) but I did want to create a list that gave us great memories.
Fun Activities –
Go on a hike
Go on a bike ride
Chase sunsets and take pictures. (I May even make this a contest between the kids.
Have a picnic
Fly a kite
Family photo scavenger hunt. (Example… Take a picture of a full moon)
For the photos: You may also want to check out the Fujuifil Instax Mini Camera. With this camera, you instantly print your photos.
Giving Back Activities –
Make cookies for our local (police, fireman, mailman, trash person etc… ) Along with a note to say Thanks!
Make care packages (water, energy bars, etc) to hand out to the homeless street peddlers.
Volunteer at a food bank/shelter
I know this list will definitely create a summer of great activities and don’t forget to print the Summer Activities bucket list.

Nice list! And the printable version looks lovely! I’d love to spend time with my kids at the aquarium, or the theme park .. I love your full-moon-picture challenge too. And it’s always good to volunteering. Thanks for reminding me of it.
