I don’t know about you, but there are times when I’ve wanted to send someone a card and didn’t have one on hand. Sound familiar? But now you won’t have to worry about that. We’ve created 6 different cards for you to print from the comfort of your own home, anytime you need them.
6 Printable Encouragement Notes
On this downloadable pdf. It’s automatically set up as a notecard. Because notecards can vary in size and postcards are usually around 4×6. We decided to create the notecards to be the same width. The difference is on the back. We’ve created a template you can print to include the addressee on the back, making it a postcard. Printing this page is optional. You can choose to handwrite it, draw it, etc. In other words, it’s totally up to you!
However, we do recommend purchasing a few of the following items…
Cardstock – This will give you that postcard feel.
Envelopes – If you plan to use these as note cards, you’ll want an envelope. We choose these because the colors will match perfectly.
If you don’t want the hassle of printing these yourself, you can upload the file and send it to a copy center such as Staples to be printed. No wasted paper or ink.

Tips on Printing at home
Note: all printers work differently. Therefore, we highly encourage test prints first)
1.) Do a cardstock test print first. Some printers don’t take well to cardstock, so before you waste ink, change your settings to black and white and do a test print first.
2.) NOTECARDS – If you’re only printing these as notecards. Do not print page 4. Page 4 is the template for mailing the postcard.
3.) POSTCARDS – When printing the postcard. Only print pages 1-3, then manually set up page 4 to print. Place your printed copies face up in your printer settings and then print it. (You may want to test this on regular copy paper and print it in black and white first) We know how frustrating it can be to print double-sided, that’s why we created the postcard mailing template to work both ways. In the event, you print it wrong, it’ll still print within the postcard frame. No one will know and you won’t have wasted any ink.
And that’s it! Be sure to check out our other free printables. Also, don’t forget to comment below and tell us what cards you’d like to see in the future and how we can improve the process. Enjoy!
